Devona Calvert: Resource

All About Me:
I am a graduate of Good Hope High School.  Afterhigh school, I attended Wallace State on a basketball scholarship andreceived a Liberal Arts degree.  Next, I attendedAthens State where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in ElementaryEducation  K-6.  I wanted to further my education and was given awonderful opportunity to attend the University ofAlabama in Birmingham, where I received my Masters in CollaborativeEducation in Special Education.  I am currently one of the resourceteachers at Good Hope Elementary as well as Good Hope Middle.  Ithoroughly enjoy each and everyday that I get to work with my students. I strive to be a positive influence in the lives of everyone I come in contact with.  

 I married my high school sweetheart. We have threedaughters and two grandchildren.  I enjoy being with my familyespecially my grandchildren.  I also like painting, thrifting,decorating, and coaching volleyball.  Another passion of mine is Alabamafootball.  Roll Tide!
