Calling all parents and grandparents! 📚🤎 Books & Brownies is next week! Come shop the Book Fair with your child, then enjoy a brownie and a little reading time together. August was a GREAT month for attendance at GHE! We had 199 students with PERFECT ATTENDANCE! 🎉 From those 199 students, we drew one name from each grade level to receive a special basket of prizes. Congratulations to our three lucky winners! We are so proud of all 199 students who were here and ready to learn every day in August! Who will it be next month?! 👀 Let’s see if we can have even MORE students with perfect attendance in September! ❤️🤍🖤

Our Otis Spunkmeyer fundraiser has officially kicked off and packets were sent home today! 🎉 Be sure to register your child as a seller before sharing the online link so they receive credit for every purchase! We are so excited for these students who have been selected to serve as our Peer Helpers for the 2026–2027 school year! These students will have the opportunity to encourage and support their peers while helping make GHE an even better place to learn and grow. 🎉 Open House is almost here! 🎉 Join us for Open House on Monday, August 10, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. This is a come-and-go event, so stop by to meet your teacher, visit your classroom, and get ready for a great school year! 📢 Please plan to attend ONE Parent Information Meeting with your child at either 3:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. These meetings will include important information to help your family have a successful start to the school year. 📚 First Days of School • August 11: Last names A–K • August 12: Last names L–Z • August 13: All students attend. 📬 Watch for our August Parent Newsletter later this week for additional back-to-school information, important dates, and reminders. Our Good Hope Primary and Elementary staffs had a blast at Singo Bingo last night! 🎶 We sang. We laughed. And we definitely butchered more than a few lyrics. 😂 Such a fun night together before we dive into a new school year. The countdown is on, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back in just two weeks! ❤️📚🤍✏️🖤

Pre-K Enrollment is open until March 13th. We will have a random drawing at the Cullman County Board of Education Boardroom on March 27th. Additional information is included on the flyers below.

ATTENTION GH PARENTS - Pre-registration for all Cullman County First Class Pre-K sites for 2026-2027 school year will open on January 15th! - Pre-registration will close on March 13th! - Children must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2026 to be eligible for the Pre-K Program. - Tuition is not charged for this program. - The random drawing will be on March 27th in the Cullman County Board of Education Board Room. Times for each school site will be announced soon!
